Depression

Living in a fallen world can catapult us, at times, into a tsunami of sadness. In addition, some people are genetically predisposed to depression or bipolar disorder. In either case, if you find yourself drowning in the sea of despair, it is best to be proactive and get counseling before the depression gets worse. I would encourage you to get help as soon as possible if you are in this situation. Maybe you feel like you have to live like that because it feels as though you have been depressed for as long as you remember. Or maybe you have recently gone through a difficult, traumatic event in your life and you need help getting your head above water, so to speak. Either way, help is available and the sooner you admit that you need help, the sooner you will begin to feel better.
